We celebrated Sydney's 8th birthday last week. I can hardly believe she is that old already. These are pictures from the family get-together at Nana and Papa's the Sunday before.
Sydney wanted to do a flower cake for her birthday this year. She helped (a little) with the decorating and chose the pretty blue colors.

Sydney wanted to invite some friends to the pool for her birthday. These are the boys: Collin, Logan, Dresden and Gabe.
The lovely group of girls: Autumn, Syd, Lauren, Chloe and Savannah. Sydney was so happy we were able to track down her old friend, Lauren, who moved last year. Other than roller skates, that was all she really wanted for her birthday.

Syd was thrilled with this gift (you just can't tell). She and Savannah have been great friends since we moved here 3 1/2 years ago.
