Arches

I love Arches! We started our hiking expedition as soon as the park opened in the morning to try to beat the heat. At this point, it was still cool and beautiful and the kids were enjoying themselves.

(Wow! You can see every little wrinkle!)

(Much better distance)

Jay shot many photos of the beautiful and strange red rock formations. I tried to limit them down but there are still a lot.

Pine Tree Arch:

Landscape Arch:

The kids were much more interested in the creatures we came across.

The Fiery Furnace. We'll have to hike (get lost in) this area when the kids get older.

Delicate Arch: The heat and my ankle kept us from hiking the 3 1/2 miles to this one though we would have liked to. Everyone was pretty tired by this point.

North and South Windows and Turret Arch:

Double Arches (one of my favorites):

Balancing Rock: (Jay has been working out!)
