Meet Oscar
This little guy was my Mother's Day gift from Collin and Sydney. He was the tiniest little angelfish just 2 1/2 months ago and has more than doubled in size. The kids loved his coloring and thought he would be a nice addition to my aquarium. I love him because he IS the cutest little guy but especially because he has such personality. (Who new fish could have personality?) This little guy will position himself in the tank so that he can watch everything I am doing in living room. He eats out of my hands and will even let me pet him now. We named him Oscar because the named seemed to fit him. He is so cool! (Pic's just don't do him justice.)

Ahhhh, how sweet. You've become affectionate towards a fish. Come on, it's a fish! They don't have personality...their fish!!! I will agree that it is a pretty fish. I'm glad he hasn't decided to do the back stroke yet. Really though, I'm glad you are enjoying your fish so much. Who would have thought that bringing home a few dwarf frogs last year would turn into an aquarium full of fish?
I love Oscar! What a cool blog! It's the little things that really matter isn't it? Love your spirit!
ah fish. I've always loved fish but have always hated cleaning fish tanks! If I were super wealthy I'd be one of those people with a 10,000 gallon tank that would take up a room. A tank that would be cleaned by a professional and I could just enjoy the floundering fish. But alas, I'm only a civil servant. We even tried buying Savannah a Beta fish. It only lasted like a week. I gave up on all pets except my birds and squirrels in my back yard. But props for you and your neat fish. We are hoping to be able to come up and see all of you this weekend. Love you all!
